The structure combines two short flaps to protect the opening without gaps, while keeping the flap area intentionally short in consideration of photographers’ use. The design also allows the camera to be placed securely on top of the bag while carrying. The original fastening system eliminates elements that could damage the camera, and opens and closes quietly, almost like fastening a button. Special details unique to this bag include the lining printed with Herbie Yamaguchi’s contact sheets, and messages engraved into the leather parts used for opening and closing the bag.
